Maurice C. Hebert, Jr. joins ADR inc. as the head of its maritime, environmental, and toxic tort mediation/arbitration section. Mr. Hebert brings to ADR inc. thirty eight years in the practice of law in maritime, environmental, and toxic tort litigation, with an emphasis upon personal injury, contracts, insurance coverages, and property damage.

Mr. Hebert graduated from Loyola University School of Law (New Orleans) in 1966. Following graduation, he served as a law clerk in the United States District Court. Mr. Hebert founded and maintained his own law practice for approximately twenty years. Additionally, he was a senior partner at Lemle & Kelleher and Liskow & Lewis.

Mr. Hebert is co-founder of the premier River & Marine Industry Seminar, formed in 1982, which brings together individuals from the maritime, legal, insurance, and judicial communities, both domestic and international. He currently serves as Moderator for the seminar. Mr. Hebert has lectured domestically and internationally in the maritime and environmental fields, and has also written a number of articles and papers on these topics.

Mr. Hebert has served as a member of the Adjunct Faculty, Skills Curriculum, at Loyola University School of Law, and was appointed to the Advisory Board of the Loyola University Board of Directors of the Louisiana Association of Waterways, Operators, and Shipyards (LAWS).

Mr. Hebert is currently a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana in both electrical and environmental engineering.
